By request, the 2nd year laurea specialistica/magistrale lesson scheduled for 8.00 on Tuesday 2nd November will be postponed until a later date, to give those students who will be away for the weekend a chance to return to Rome at a civilised hour.

COURSES 2010/2011

COURSES HAVE STARTED!

LINGUA II (studenti A-D)
This will be a 30 hour course (N.B. 30 hours in the course, plus 30 hours private study), which will be part of the 2nd year examination for a total of 12 credits (6 with me, 6 with a 2nd year lettore course).
Like last year, it will be based upon acquisition of reading skills. A bibliography will be published here.
The course will be given in the 1st semester only. The days and times are as follows (Villa Mirafiori):
Tuesdays, 10.30-12.30, aula III (ALL semester = parts A + B)
Thursdays, 10.30-12.30, aula VII (half-semester = part A only)

LETTORATO III (laurea triennale)
This course will be for general 3rd year students and will test their ability to read and analyse persuasive language and to write simple English sentences, paragraphs and compositions. Like all lettorato courses it will be of 64 classroom hours plus 128 hours of private study and 16 laboratory or conversation group hours. Its 4 credits will be added to those of the LINGUA III course to make a total of 8 credits when registering the exam.
