NOTA BENE: These are, to the best of my knowledge, the times and places of my lessons this year. Please do not write for elucidation about possible discrepancies on other sites. Dilectio is now defunct. Please do not write about what may or may not be the situation half way through the semester or through the year, as this is all I know at present.

(24 hours - 4 hours per week, Villa Mirafiori)
1st part of 1st semester
Tuesdays: 10.30-12.30 aula V
Thursdays: 08.30-10.30 aula V
COURSE BEGINS ON 6th OCT.
N.B. Department policy is to allow students to attend a course independently of whether their surnames begin with a letter for that course (in this case O-Z). However, if the "esonero" is not passed at the end of the course, that student will then return to the stream and professor appropriate for his or her surname.

LETTORATO INGLESE III anno (triennale)***

Tuesdays: 08.30-10.30 aula III
Thursdays: 10.30-12.30* aula V (part A 1st semester then part B at 08.30,when the room will change to aula III)

*** Per gli studenti di Mediazione Linguistica che devono maturare solo 4 cfu di Lingua Inglese III (studenti iscritti nell'a.a. 2007-08) va seguito solo il lettorato III per il quale si sosterrà la prova scritta e successivamente, con la Prof. Wardle, la prova orale.

LETTORATO INGLESE II (laurea specialistica)
1st semester (all II year students, Ex-Vetreria Sciarra)

Wednesdays: 10.00-12.00 aula C
COURSE BEGINS ON 13th OCT.
N.B. This is a course for ALL 2nd year students during the 1st semester, when the emphasis will be on basic grammar and written English. The 2nd semester will not be for Scienze-traduzione-tecnico/scientifico students, who MUST attend lessons in the 1st semester if they wish to do so. There will be no lessons for these students during the 2nd semester. The 2nd semester lessons will possibly involve timetable changes.

RICEVIMENTO
from October my office hours will be on Thursdays at 13.00 in the Lettori Office at Villa Mirafiori. This will be for individual tutoring & homework, tesi di laurea and for registering Lingua exams. If this is inconvenient I may be contacted with ample notice and arrange a meeting after or before one of my lessons, if mutually convenient.

7) 2nd year language (29.9.9):
Although it is usual for the level of students taking the exam after the summer holidays to be lower than normal, owing to the very low level of the results of these candidates, I have decided to list only those who passed the examination. In this year's preliminary words about the 2nd year LINGUA course I shall post important advice for students who take the examination with me. I strongly recommend that those candidates who have not passed this time should a) come and see their papers during my ricevimento hours; b) perhaps attend some lessons before the Winter session; 3) take notice of what I shall write on this blog about examinations.
